Microsoft introduces Autopilot agent and usage-based billing

Microsoft launched an Autopilot agent built on OpenClaw that operates as an autonomous assistant with its own cloud computer and workspace. The update divides the Copilot app into Home, Code, and Autopilot sections.

In addition, Microsoft is shifting Autopilot, Code, and Cowork to usage-based billing instead of a flat rate. Autopilot will launch in late September as a private preview.
