Andreessen Horowitz launches academy with tech partners
Venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz is launching the Horowitz Andreessen Academy as a one-year program for young people to join startups. The initiative opens with 10 partners, including Google, Meta, OpenAI, and Palantir, alongside $42 million in funding led by a16z.
The program launches in the fall of 2027 and will accept 50 students who must move to San Francisco. Students will pay no tuition for the first year, receive no degrees, and obtain more than $50,000 in compute credits plus a $5,000 travel and research budget.
